Dear
Mr. President,
I
see that you have decided to cut funding for the Environmental
Protection Agency. I'm not so sure that that was such a good idea.
I'm really worried because we only have one planet to live on and it
only has one environment. That means that it's everyone's
responsibility to protect the environment for future generations.
Now
I know that back in your day, people didn't really worry about global
warming. The emphasis was on the future. There were dreams of going
to the moon, floating cars, and pasteurized American cheese-type
product. Thankfully, science and industry brought us two of those,
but at what cost, Mr. President? Science has progressed now to the
point where we can accurately assess the damage done to the
environment, and Sir, it's not good. I understand that new science
and new ideas are scary, but you should remember that once, those
scary ideas were cars, manufacturing, and spray tans. Don't defund
science just because it's scary. Trust that someone knows what's
going on. Unless you have big plans for Trump-branded, weather-proof
city domes. You don't do you?
