Dear
Mr. President,
A
disturbing report was brought to my attention today. You have allowed
logging in National Parks. Is that true? That can't be true, Sir.
Logging would destroy our National Parks. The effect would be
terrible, both for the environment and for our reputation. People
don't say America the Beautiful because of man-made structures. They
say it because our country—YOUR country—is inherently beautiful.
It's natural structures are breathtaking. Perhaps if you considered
them the Trump Tower of parks. It would be like allowing gold minders
into your homes. I've seen pictures. They would strip your home of
it's very essence. The same is true of logging in the National Parks.
Please don't let us become America the Deforested.
